Pandawa at your feet. Bingin, Impossibles and Padang Padang within 20 minutes. Haas knows every break.
Express Interest →The Bukit is Bali's surf heartland, and LG Paragliding Villas sits above the best of it. Walk two minutes to Pandawa. Scooter to Bingin before the crowd arrives. Let Haas drive you to wherever the swell is best that morning. Come back, shower, eat, repeat. This is not a surf camp. It's a home base with the right address.
Driver, tour guide, and the person who has surfed every break on the Bukit more times than he can count. Haas knows when Bingin is on, when to avoid the crowd at Padang, and which reef suits a guest who hasn't surfed since Margaret River two years ago. He picks you up, drives you there, waits, brings you home.
Pandawa beach is a 2-minute walk down the cliff path. Bingin is 12 minutes by scooter, Impossibles 15 minutes, Padang Padang 18 minutes. Uluwatu — the Bukit's most iconic break — is 20 minutes. All of Bali's best left-handers within a half-hour of the front gate.
The Bukit has something for every level. Pandawa's left-hander is forgiving on smaller swells — solid for confident beginners and intermediates. Bingin is a punchy hollow left for intermediate to advanced. Impossibles gives longer rides with multiple sections. Padang Padang is a serious barreling reef for experienced surfers. Haas picks the right break each morning.
Yes. Haas runs morning surf sessions for villa guests, driving to whichever break is firing and suited to your ability that day. He knows every reef on the Bukit — the tides, the swell windows, the crowds. Brief him over breakfast and he handles the rest.
Several board hire shops operate along the Bukit road between the villa and Bingin. Haas points you to the right operator for your level and the day's conditions. If you're travelling with boards, there's secure storage on the property.
May through October is the prime window. Dry season brings consistent south swells from the Southern Ocean — same system that lights up Bells and Snapper. Offshore winds run east to southeast in the mornings. Direct flights from Sydney, Melbourne and Perth in 6–9 hours.
Pandawa is a sheltered bay framed by limestone cliffs. The left-hander at the northern end is the main surf feature — accessible on smaller swells, more serious with size. On big south swell days Haas redirects to Bingin or Impossibles. No dangerous rip under normal conditions.
